Caught on Dashcam

Caught on Dashcam was a ‘You’ve Been Framed’ style clip show focusing on car based clips.

I created a title sequence, bumpers and short animations to go with messages like ‘No One Was Hurt In Any of These Clips’ and ‘Coming up Next’.

Each episode features themed segments. The themes were different for every show, so I created bespoke animations for each one. 

The themes were often quite abstract, like ‘I Believe In Miracles’ or ‘Instant Karma’.

I created a four second animation to illustrate each one. The show was intended for international distribution so I made sure I didn’t use any text or numbers, since we wanted to change the language on the audio and not the images. I built everything in After Effects and Illustrator.
